Testimonials

Here are a few words from past students that have enjoyed working with me:

"My son is 19 years old, diagnosed with Autism, intellectual delay, ADHD and Tourette's. It has been very difficult to find him activities that he likes and that he is  willing to engage in, much less learn. The very nature of his disability warrants a person who will not stay focused for long periods of time or engage or retain the material. Yet, Bob is able to accomplish that with my son. For years, i had no idea what my son liked to do, what gave his life meaning and purpose but now  I know. Bob is patient, caring, compassionate and understanding. He speaks to my son, not at my son and  treats him with respect and dignity. And my son has thrived under Bob's tutelage. He loves the piano. He can read the musical notes all on his own and plays it so well. Bob has given my son a sense of pride and accomplishment. I am so grateful that i found Bob and he has been teaching my son for many years and my son adores him immensely. I would recommend any parent who is wondering if music is the way to go with their special needs individual to really reach out to Bob and they will absolutely be amazed at the difference his teaching will make in the lives of the person they care about. Thank you

Be well !!!

"Bob Dee has taught my son guitar for five years from age 5, he has been able to spontaneously adapt his teaching through the various emotional stages my son has gone throughout the years, whether my son is coming to the lessons enthusiastic, upset, tired or wired , Bob Dee always gets my son's full attention within a couple of minutes with his versatile and passionate method of teaching. He can arrange any song to fit your skill level and the lessons are always interesting."  –Nina B.

"I was lucky enough to study jazz guitar with Bob Dee for 5 years.    When it was time to apply to music colleges I was accepted to the highest level programs that I applied due to my level of musicianship. I attribute the vast majority of this to the time I spent studying with Bob Dee." –Andre F.

"Bob Dee is both an extremely knowledgeable teacher and a caring and helpful person. Without a doubt I'm more confident and motivated in my jazz guitar playing because of his fun and insightful lessons."  –Dove B.
